Maheswari Chanakyan is a well-known television anchor and actress working in the Tamil TV and film industry. Presently, she hosts the show Comedy Khiladis which is a stand-up comedy show that has brought many actors and comedians to the Tamil film industry. The show airs through Zee Tamil HD starting on 4 February 2018, at 1:00 PM (IST). She stepped into a tiny screen as an anchor on SunTv but later transferred towards Isai Aruvi. She was also in the film Pyaar Prema Kaadhal film with Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson. VJ Maheswari Chanakyan was among the contestants on Bigg Boss Tamil season 6 hosted by Kamal Haasan.
Early Life & Career
Anchor Maheshwari was born on the 17th of February, 1985 in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. She completed her education at Adarsh Vidyalaya, T.Nagar. After graduating, Maheswari started her career as an anchor, and also hosted an event on the most popular Tamil radio station Sun Music. Then she transferred toward Isai Aruvi. Her first appearance as an actor was on the screen in Kuyil and was also seen in a handful of Tamil serials such as Thayumanavan as well as Pudhukavidhai.
Then, she was wed to Chanakya and had an infant son. She decided to step away from the TV industry when she became a mom. Following childbirth, she returned to television via Zee Tamil Channel with which she hosted various shows with her co-anchor, Kamal. She is currently hosting the shows Comedy Khiladis and Petta Rap in Zee Tamil. The latest photos from her photoshoots often go popular on social media.
